    For credit/debit card payments, our automation kicks in and your service is set up and activated automatically within 30-60 seconds. Your access details are sent to your email address. For bank transfer (havale/EFT) payments, activation takes place once the payment is confirmed.

    Only for newly purchased Web Hosting and Reseller Hosting services, you can request a refund within 48 hours (2 days) of activation. An approved refund is added to your Clou.TR account as site credit (balance); there are no cash refunds. Domain names, all server services (VPS/VDS, dedicated, colocation, SMTP node), SSL certificates and licenses, add-on services such as setup, consulting and site migration, and all renewals are not refundable.     We accept credit cards, debit cards (secure 3D Secure), bank transfer (havale/EFT), and account credit. All card transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL and PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. After payment, your electronic invoice is generated automatically and added to your account.

    On all our hosting plans you can switch between PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 anytime using the Multi-PHP Manager in cPanel. PHP extensions (ioncube, imagick, redis, opcache, etc.) can also be enabled; for special requirements, contact our support team.

    Yes. With our reseller hosting plans you can manage many customer sites from a single WHM panel. Each customer site runs in a separate, isolated cPanel account; adding a new site takes a few minutes. With free private nameservers and per-site SSL, you bring your entire portfolio together under your own corporate identity.

    If your traffic is low-to-medium and you run a standard website/blog/small e-commerce store, web hosting is sufficient. If you have special software requirements (Node.js, Docker, custom services), high traffic, or need full control, you should choose a virtual server (VPS/VDS). Since our server services are offered unmanaged, you should have Linux/Windows administration knowledge or work with a system administrator.

    Although the two are often confused in marketing, at Clou.TR all our virtual servers are deployed as KVM-based VDS — meaning CPU and RAM are truly dedicated to you, not shared. At some other providers the term VPS is used for OpenVZ or containerized solutions, where overselling can happen. With us, VPS = VDS = a KVM dedicated resource guarantee.

    Yes. All our virtual and physical servers sit behind a network-level anti-DDoS filter. Layer 3-4 attacks are protected automatically, while for Layer 7 attacks a filter profile configuration can be activated via a support ticket. During an attack, clean traffic continues to flow uninterrupted.

    Through our customer panel you can start, stop, restart, and reinstall your server, take snapshots, and access the VNC console. Management panels such as cPanel or Plesk can be purchased and installed as add-on licenses. If you need a fully managed service, it is offered as an additional package.

    For individuals, a Turkish ID card is sufficient; for companies, a signature circular and a certificate of activity are required. Trademark-registered names can be applied for with a TPE registration certificate. Simply upload your documents to the customer panel — we handle the NIC.TR application, tracking, and activation processes.

    Simply get the EPP (authorization) code from your current provider and create your application on our domain transfer page. The process usually completes within 5-7 days; .com.tr transfers may take a bit longer because they require NIC.TR approval. Your existing DNS settings are not affected during the transfer period.

    Whois is a database that publicly displays the personal information of a domain owner (name, surname, email, phone, address). Whois privacy replaces this information with a generic proxy record, protecting you from spam, fraud, and data harvesting attempts. At Clou.TR, Whois privacy is free on all domains (except .tr extensions — for which registration is mandatory under NIC.TR policies).

    The email accounts in a web hosting plan live on the same server as the site; the site's traffic and resource usage can affect the mailboxes, and disk space is shared with site files. Business email hosting runs on infrastructure dedicated to email only: a guaranteed quota per account (10–20 GB), SpamExperts pre-filtering, a separate sending reputation, and calendar/contact sharing. It is the better fit for companies with heavy email traffic, or any company that wants mailboxes kept independent of the website.

    Yes. All our accounts support the IMAP, POP3, and SMTP standards; they work seamlessly in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, the Gmail app, and the built-in mail apps on mobile devices. Calendars and contact lists sync over CalDAV/CardDAV. You can also reach them from your browser via Webmail.

    On all web hosting and reseller hosting plans the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate is free and is installed and renewed automatically via cPanel. If you need stronger validation (OV/EV) or wildcard SSL, Comodo, Sectigo, and DigiCert certificates are available for purchase.

    On our web hosting accounts, daily automatic backups are taken as standard, and via the cPanel JetBackup interface you can access the last 7-30 days of backups and restore to any date you wish. Nonetheless, per our agreement, data security is the customer's responsibility — for critical data we recommend also adding cloud backup or your own backup procedure.

    For Turkey-located services, your server data is hosted at the NetWeb (Istanbul) and DGN (Bursa) Tier III data centers we use; on overseas servers, data is kept in the country you choose. Your personal data is shared only with the parties, and for the purposes, listed in Article 5 of our Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure.
